Okay I have an issue, apparently no sleep plus endless potato harvest equals Chet crashing into a tree and totally destroying the topper unit of a borrowed Grimme Varitron potato harvester. I have 25k to offer but cannot find anything in USA, hoping you may have some EU contacts and can help out. I can stretch the 25k if needed

Can you get it to the local shop? I can send one of my techs out there to have a look and see what we can do for you, if that's possible.

Alright, got good news and bad news. Good news is, fixing the machine isn't going to be difficult and it's going to be cheaper than you thought. Bad news is, it's going to be down for about 2 days. You're looking at:
Take a day to get the parts in, then 7.5 hours work. Here's your detailed estimate
$11,300 for a new halum topper assembly, $165 for a new drive chain
0.5 hours collision damage inspection 4.5 hours remove and replace topper/chain 2.5 hours alignment check and adjust 7.5 hours labor @ $150/hr.
10% tax
$11,465 parts $1,125 labor $1,259 tax
$13,849 total. Just let me know if you want us to go ahead. Don't worry about paying until the work is finished.

Great news, the 2 day downtime isnt ideal, but I cannot return it as is so I will green light the repairs.

Alright, I just found a freight carrier who says they'll overnight the parts, but he wants an extra $300 for it. But that would cut your downtime in half.

Thank you, however downtime won't be too much of an issue as I thought, farmer wasn't impressed when he heard what happened. Thankfully he calmed down after I explained your guys could have it fixed in 2 days. His main concern was getting the potatoes harvested today so he supplied us with his old topper, trailed harvester and a rested farmhand.. We will take a hit on the payment for use of extra machines but hopefully niw we will get it finished by nightfall

Tyler, sorry again man, I've been battling some pretty vicious headaches the last couple of days. It's better now, so no worries.
Anyway, your potato harvester is done and ready for pickup. There weren't any surprises, so that $13,849 is all you owe.

Transferring payment now, will let the farmer know its fixed awaiting pickup. No worries about the delay, I figured you were ill or busy irl. Can't expect you to be here 24/7
