Early SummerSo I received two vehicles on demo a JCB agri pro 542-70 Telehandler and a case TV370 Skid steer. I have been using both machines around the farm and liking both will need time to get a proper opinion on the machines. I did do a second cut on field 38 but unfortunately a big rain storm destroyed the grass before it turned to hay. The combine fair was awesome got to see the Case combine and New Holland TX32 in action in a neighbours field which he had ask me to cart for him. Had a surprise milk demand with the price at a whooping £1,756 per 1000L we got £83,493 from it. The store said we could use the Class dominator and the John Deere W330 on our two fields in Mid Summer.

Mid Summer
Harvest time is here, so I had a go on a Claas Dominator which I used on the spelt which yielded 60,507L and 52 straw bales which I sold 8 bales for £3,200. I also had a go on a John Deere W330 combine which I used on the canola and got 39,650L. I have bought A combine Harvester and should arrive in late Winter which is when I let u guys know what brand it is. Northern Coast waterboard has asked if they can spread their solid waste on our fields apparently it makes good fertiliser.

They're definitely good replacements for skid loaders and FEL's, nearly as maneuverable but much more lift height and capacity. 1 imported Claas Scorpion 1033 took over the work of a TV370 and whatever the smaller wheeled one is, along with the 6120M/603R and I'd have a second one if they weren't so expensive compared to my Bobcat 863 Turbo (which only stays around since its on the other side of the map and I need the Scorpion for seed, fert, and chemical handling).

Not trying to veer this off-topic, but I personally don't have much experience in telehandlers, I'll jump straight from skid loader to wheel loaders, no front loaders either. This is purely from real life experience, when my parents ran telehandlers, they couldn't take the strain of running 8-10 hours a day constantly. The dealers (Cat and JCB) even said they were meant for intermittent use. They're probably good for what you guys run though. I downloaded that JCB pack and might just add it to West Texas sooner or later

Ag spec are the stuff in game and a designed as telescopic loaders while construction spec is essentially a telescopic forklift. At least that’s what I’ve read on bothNA and Eu forums.

Fairly certain they were ag teles, but I was about 4-5 years old when we had them, so I hardly remember anything haha Edit: I have found the perfect telehandler in that JCB, been using it on West Texas for straw bales

Late SummerSo the contractor for the water board turn up in his Joskin self driving manure spreader which made short work of the two arable fields. managed to do a second cut clover silage got 45 bales from it and a third cut grass silage which we got 27 bales and I made a start on liming and cultivating field 2. Unfortunately its the end for the jcb agri 542.70 demo and I have decided to end the case skid steer early as we look at it wen are not big enough farm to need a telehandler and skidsteer. and unfortunately its too small and doesn't have a big enough shovel to fill up lorries with grain. but i did love using it maybe later on we could see having a skidsteer to take over the animal chores.

Mid and Late AutumnSo I flew out to Flint hills USA again to help with their harvest season, loving driving the new John Deere 8370RX which was on the grain cart. They decided to go for another John Deere S790 combine than go for the John Deere 9x.

WinterNot much doing, selling 60,000L of spelt at united grains for £41,341, sold 50,000L of milk for £66,859 at Dale farm, sold off the fruit from the orchards for £10,738, and sold 55 grass silage bales and 45 clover silage bales for £126,000 and sold off a male cow which was over 1600IBS for £2,302 with £200 being paid for transporting him. Our new purchases arrive in early spring . so the big pay-outs are £41,330 to the bank and £20,665 towards the covid tax. I almost forgot my boss daughter has arrived after 4 years at uni doing finance and accounting so she will be taking over the finances. I have temporarily taken over running the farm as the boss still recovering from health issues. To leave on a good news the government has given the greenlight on the covid vaccines.

Late Spring
Time to cut and turn Clover into hay for the first time got 45 clover hay bales. while I was cutting hay the boss's daughter sprayed herbicide on the fields. WE bought a new Manure Spreader so we can spread the muck which we used straight away.
P.S I have heard that Flint Hills USA was hit by a massive EF5 Tornado and the farm i help out was in its path, fortunately there was no fatalities on the farm.

Early Summer So the Massey Ferguson 5650 comes out to harvest Field grass in field 28 I got 18,488L and 27 haylage bales, mowed Field 38 and got 25 silage bales, and fertilised Field 28 and 38 with solid fertiliser. Got some bad news as you know my boss has had some serious health problems they have decided to put the farm up for sale. in the mean time the farm continues as normal. ibb.co/mFjsZ0fibb.co/p2mdQwgibb.co/4WK6VfXibb.co/2F4CCGTibb.co/ys4zL38

Mid SummerTime to harvest the winter Wheat and Winter Canola, got 62,432L of wheat which i sold straight off the field for £339 per 1,000L so I got in grand total £21,221, I got 36,758L of canola. I had a Heston baler on demo and the equipment to move them as well. I then proceeded to spread the human muck on the harvested fields. It looks like My boss has found a new farm to buy, its a small hobby farm in the USA, they just need the funds from northern coast farm .
