My next chapter has arrivedIt has been 2 years since my last post I have been doing seasonal work in the UK and USA mainly during harvest seasons, I have now settled down in Attingham Park UK....
I know own a farm called Brompton farm, which is a cow and chicken farm, it comes with two fields a grass field and a arable field, i have also bought the local fishery pond.
the farm and fishery cost me £249,000. which leaves me £351,000 for tractor and equipment. I had a surprise turn up as well from Northern coast.

March 2021So after visiting a local arable farm sale fair and a farm closure auction i come away with a Tractor and most of the implements I need minus a water trailer, tmr mixer and a animal transport trailer and a Fert spreader. in total I spent another £235,001 which leaves me with £116,000 in the bank. I managed to plough field 36 with a rented amazonne plough and spread fertiliser on the grass field with a Sulky spreader on a demo

July and August 2021July: I managed to cut the the grass field for second cut hay which I got 48 bales I couldn't get it in this month as it dried on the last day of the month.
August: I got all the hay bales in and spread solid fertilise on the grass field and ordered a fuel delivery to the farm. I am in talks with another Agri Graduate who is looking at setting up a grain harvest contracting business he has asked me whether I can store his combine at my farm and be a carter for him.

September 2021Time to start my new job as a grain carter did a few trips from the field to the farm then the farmer asked if I can cart the straw bales from the field to the animal dealer, in total I made £15,000. ME and Bob made a deal he can store his combine at my farm for the price of allowing me to use the combine on my arable fields, and any grain he gets from the contracts I get 25% of the income from selling it as the price for storing it. He had a new Holland CR10.90 on demo specially for this field.
Whats that in the bushes find out next time.....

MarchSo i bought another field, which was a grass field but i decided to make it an arable field. I helped a neighbour farmer plant two fields with spring barley. which I received £6,050 what got me thinking of expanding my farm business to involve contracting. which i may look at getting a bigger tractor maybe a John Deere 6170R or a JCB fastrac 4220.
