To get goods purchased from another player "delivered" to your farm use this mod by Suedtirol Modding or similar (we are working on a similar type mod that doesn't charge for the goods). If you use the mod, keep track of how much you are charged as you will want to correct this in your in-game bank account both from the purchase of the mod in game as well as how much you are charged for the goods.
To "deliver" goods that have been bought from you to another player, there are several options (we r working on mods to do this) available to you. 1) sell the goods at any selling station on your map. This will be a must for bales, wood and animals (animal dealer or pen dialog box). Track the money and change it to reflect the amount you sold your goods for on the forum. 2) loose material can be loaded into a tipper in the amount you have sold and the tipper reset to empty it thus "delivering" the goods. This will be a must for things like Seeds, fertilizer, TMR, and other things that cant be sold in the default game. then adjust your in-game bank account to reflect the amount of money you sold your product for here on the forum.
The selling or buying of equipment is accomplished by selling/buying the equipment at the in-game store (depending on which end of the transaction you are on) and then either add or subtract money using the methods just below.
To add funds to your account use this mod by Realismus Modding or similar. The mod produces an hourly income of $150,000 on easy, $100,000 on normal and $80,000 on hard (respectively).
The fast and "messy" way to remove funds from your account is done by leasing equipment and immediately returning it to the store.
EXAMPLE OF USING THESE METHODS (this is a rough example not using official in game prices and assuming both players r on easy economy) - you have sold 20,000L of wheat to another person for $20,000. first deliver the wheat using one of the prescribed methods above. In this case the resetting of a trailer with the goods in it is the most efficient way. Fill a trailer with 20,000L and reset it (depending on the trailer capacity, it may be hard to get exactly the right amount. we are working on the honor system for our own roleplay so just try to get it as close as possible). depending on the size of trailer you own you may have to do this several times (a 5,000L trailer would need filled and reset 4 times). now its time to add funds to your account. place the sign (or whatever mod you use to bring income for the roleplaying) and speed time up to the next hour. $150,000 has now been deposited into your account. now you need to correct it to the amount of the sale. you need to subtract the sale amount from the $150,000 which in this case is $130,000. so lets say you lease 2 large pieces of equipment (like those expensive cotton balers) for $47,000 each bringing the amount up to $96,000. now try to lease something smaller to get the remaining $34,000 removed from your account. u might be able to get it really close using cheap stuff like leasing a bucket or some forks or something. it doesn't have to be exact! you can roleplay shipping costs, registration fees, etc. if u go a smidgen over that's cool too! just roleplay that maybe u saved a couple hundred on shipping by using a cheaper service or getting delayed delivery.
Ultimately we have simply provided the place to make and find "deals" and make the "deal" with another player. It is your responsibility to adjust your game to reflect the transaction and write it into your "story". Forum staff will help as much as possible but the larger end of it all rests with you in your own game save.
It is highly recommended that PC players edit their .xml files to accomplish everything outlined above but you are welcomed to use our guide as it can all be accomplished without ever leaving or tabbing out of the game. Console players must use the guide for the time being but can expect (we will do the best we can) mods in the "near" future to assist with the various aspects of the roleplaying. Whatever method you use is up to you but remember, have fun with it!
We are aware of the obvious and glaring limitations and constraints of the systems currently employed in this roleplaying. We are working hard to fix this. For now please try to use the prescribed methods to the best of your ability while we work out more permanent solutions. Thank you for your patience.
If you have suggestions or questions about the guide or methods used please feel free to put them in the Community Suggestions section so we may have a look at them. You never know if your idea will be the "next big thing" on the forum.
