I have for sale big bags with 1060 liters of seed potatoes for €200 per big bag plus a €100 deposit on the big bags (you can return the empty big bags to your local dealership and get your deposit back. I'm selling these since i want to make it easier for people to start potato farming because planting potatoes with the normal seed they sell at the dealership is very expensive. They charge €900 for 1000 liter, and of course the seed usage for potatoes is very high. At the moment i have 11 big bags available. Its nice to see so many more people doing taters.. the taters dont get nearly enough love.. once I am back on the farm, I would love to buy some tater seeds off you  |

I have been thinking of doing potatoes too, but I'm afraid it have to wait a couple of years as I have just invested a lot in an upgrade to my machine park, including a brand new man hooklift truck, and I still have a bit of mortgage left on the 870 and the combine. But hopefully I'll be expanding to potatoes later on

Just let me know when you are ready! I'm using second hand potato equipment myself, because it fits the rest om my machinery better, but it is also considerably cheaper. In fact i am in the process of buying a "new" potato harvester just now. i used the agromet pionier the first year i did potatoes, but i don't really like it since it leaves the potatoes on the ground.
