When doing a private auction, I think it would be good to list the closing time in the auction post. Example:
Auction item was listed at noon on a Thursday, announce that auction closes at noon on Friday. If the OP isn't able to be there at the end (which I think they should be, but we all have personal lives also.) then we can track the winner via thread comment time stamps. If that makes sense. Or am I just being too OCD?

i had thought of that.. but the problem is we don't all play in the same time zones in the world.. at the top of a post it says how old the post is.. this way i think is the easiest way for interest parties and the poster to keep more direct tabs on the time remaining.... so to them not being there.. ill try to keep tabs so i can close it if they aren't present.. im looking into better ways to assist in this but that's the best i have for now.. ty very very much for your suggestion.. keep em coming

Ah, ok. I figured the time stamps were all the same respective to our time zones. If someone in Germany makes a post at noon CST, it shows up as noon for me, and say 2am for them.

yea the stamps i reference (see the top of our comments) r based on time elapsed as opposed to time of day.. its just easier as i personally don't want to memorize all the time zones of the world.. ive got enough going on without all that lololol
