I am in search of a decent sized forager, about 6-7.5 meter corn header, for harvesting corn silage for my herd of 20 cattle in Iowa. Any brand or age is a possibility, and I am also in the market for silage trailers. (Preferably all American equipment for this post)

When i was looking for silage equiptment here i Holsndskesomething, they had two used choppers in, an older NH S2200 and an absolutely gem, the Saturne 5800 hooklift edition (use this set)! It truly is an awesome mascine, had it on demo, see picture below. It's a bit costly, but should make up for it. I was just a tad bit to big for my current operation.

Thanks Noraf! I will definitely look into those two. My local dealer has contacts with those two machines' dealers, and I am working on pricing. Hopefully I can get one soon, my corn is getting any younger!
