Hey everyone.. Things r going well.. I have what's called a picc line now so no more getting IV sticks or blood draws which is wonderful.. I'm back on solid foods and pain management has not been better.. I even gained a few pounds which is better than a fresh ear of š½ for dinner... Looks like they r gonna go in me 1 more time weds and if all goes well I'll get to go home to my family by weekend..
I'm really excited.. With the way I feel these days my quality of life and ability to heal have went way up.. It will be nice to spend actual time with my family.. We r gonna start the final season of supernatural which I'm really looking forward to
Anyway.. That's where I'm at.. Happy farming everyone

Also.. Happy birthday to me.. Even laid up in the hospital I have an awful lot to be thankful for and u all and this forum r part of that lot.. Thanks for sticking by me everyone

Ok went thru another surgery/procedure.. This one should be it for about 4 weeks baring complications.. That means in a couple days I'll be headed home š after 2 weeks I'm ready to go home

Congrats! Bet it'll feel nice to sink into your own bed.
Kinda like the days of running OTR, I remember that first night home after 3 weeks out on the road. Yeah, that was the best.

Thanks guys.. I'm actually sitting very painfully in an SUV with the worst seats EVER heading for home.. Can't wait to be home.. Although my immediate motivation is so I can get out of this truck.. How does a luxury SUV with leather everything suck so bad for comfort!? They missed the mark with this one

Hey everyone.. I know its been awhile.. too long.. since u all heard from me... I am still here.. still putting up the good fight.. things r.. well lets just say things arent great.. as if everything going on with my health wasnt enough.. now it looks like my liver might be failing and as I am not a drinker, they cant figure out whats causing all of this.. I am so sorry if it seems like I have abandoned our community.. Please believe me when I say this is not the case.. Its just hard.. I am either in so much pain I literally just lay there wishing it to all just end or I am on so much pain medicine (as much as pain management can legally give me) that I am just a slurring mess and I wouldnt be any help to anyone.. but there has been some positive changes and I am very optimistic about the future.. I seem to be on the mend a lil bit.. these things change quickly with my health these days but I am hopeful.. I have whole teams of amazing docs, nurses and more than a few specialists working hard to put me back together.. Honestly.. I am not sure what else to say.. I dont feel right giving any time frame to when I will be back on here full time as my health would likely make a liar out of me.. but I will say that I will be back.. better than ever.. On a high note I have finally reached a point where I am occasionally able to lay on the couch in such a way that I can play on the xbox x a bit.. so.. I bought a copy of fs19 for it and have been able to start a nice farm on sosnovka.. its my favorite map and hands down (imho) the best map giants has put out to date.. its one of the few farms I had that I kept beyond the normal measure of success in fs17.. I made a mega farm.. I had over a 1000 head of cattle and hundreds and hundreds of sheeps.. owned almost every field on the map.. custom yards built here there and yonder.. it was nice.. I know this whole bit here is off topic but.. these days even being able to just lay and play a good game is a HUGE deal for me! Anyway.. I hope u r all well.. I do still check in on everything so if there is anything I can do (within reason given my situation) please drop me a message or tag me in a thread and I will get back to u the very next time I am on the pc.. Also I just realized how many people might have face palmed while thinking to yourself "y on earth did she buy a console copy when she could just hook the pc up to the tv?".. and its a good question.. and I have a good answer.. my keyboard.. I have one of those fancy gaming keyboard cause it has all kinds of extras AND they keys light up.. BUT.. its corded.. when I priced wireless gaming keyboards it became very evident that it was far cheaper to just play on console..

hmm.. i have a really tight budget atm but I will see whats available.. I DO have a clear loan (in game & on here) so.. yea I think I will do some "shopping".. on your lot and the private listings.. I am gearing up for grass work so hopefully I can find what I need.. farm is still pretty young and I dont have much (managed to score a small JD harvester for around 10k so I am set there as I still have the harvester that came with the purchase of the farm).. it will be nice to use the forum as a member instead of admin for a change lol.. but no worries.. If I am right and I am on the mend I suspect I will be on here a LOT more not only as a member but resuming my admin role..

So its been a bit since I gave a good update.. so... yesterday was a busy day.. I had multiple scheduled procedures out of state starting in the morning and needless to say it was close to 7pm when I finally returned home.. but after all that I am all me again.. no ports or pic lines or shunts or stints in there anymore.. for the first time in the better part of a year my body is.. well its mine again! They went in and looked around and while I am still healing, the stuff causing all this has gotten tremendously better.. Now its very very much time to get me off the oxycotton and morphine so I can really start to feel like me again as I have had my fill of walking around like a zombie all the time.. sadly my body is very much chemically addicted to them so it will be a gradual process over the course of weeks and maybe months.. But I have some fantastic folks at the pain management center looking after me so I have no doubt that it will be handled gently and with the utmost professionalism! Over the course of the next month or so you HOPEFULLY will start noticing a big difference with me on here and how I am able to interact with everyone.. and.. maybe one day in the near(ish) future I will be able to hook my wheel, shifter and tracker back up and play the game as it should be (not knocking how anyone plays the game, its my preference) but for now I will honestly be content if I can start playing on my computer again as opposed to my console.. dont get me wrong, my console has been amazing thru all of this.. but I cant beat the customizability, instant load times and super smooth frame rates on my pc.. I miss it lol
With that said, I would like to do some kind of sale or something to mark this huge turning point in my health but honestly I am not sure what to do... ideas?

I had a really bad few days but I am still doing ok.. Kinda want to sit at the pc today and list some stuff but it will take some effort on my part and I just wanted to see.. anyone interested in some big kit? Like.. IDEAL harvester(s) and Fendt 1000(s).. trailers.. augers.. seeders.. big stuff from my farm in Illinois.. I have decided to go ahead with my retirement there so I am selling everything off

Well there are 2 of these dump trailers (with dolly) set for 105,000L, I have the in-game big tracked auger wagon (largest capacity), this Fendt loading wagon set for 54,000L.. I have a few of those 30,000L dolly trailers from the modern classics pack as well.. 3 if memory serves but I may have bought a 4th.. there might be a few more but I would need to start up the game to be sure.. Ill get everything listed today tho for anyone who wants it |

I had a few bad days but... its mostly because I finally got season pass.. then that precision farming dlc dropped and well... my life is full of neglect atm.. farming simulator is completely taking all of my time lol

Precision Farming DLC, only just got my head around it. Now MissyB's masterpiece Wyther Farms has dropped on the modhub.
Goodbye life for a week or more, my head is stuck in the game ATM, everything else takes a backseat. Pulled a sicky from work today (who works Sundays anyway?) to get more hours on FS.
Even neglecting my Westbridge RP save ATM as I have fallen in love with Precision Farming and am worried PF will need me to update it. I don't think I could restore it to where I am with what's available to us on console.
No matter how active you are on here Jessi I can't speak for all but as for me I appreciate this wonderful community you have created, no hate just common love for a great game. Everyone gets along, which is unheard of these days.
Don't push things, take your time, enjoy Farm Sim and look after yourself.

Tyler, any update is optional. You see, with PF, every map had a generic soil map under it now, and the only thing an update would do is customize that pattern.
