Hi everyone, i just wanted to share some pictures of my new farm in Brazil. It all started with a very hilly forest, this is the before picture:
i own the forest between the road and sellpoint at the top and the field in the bottom of the picture above. I cut down almost all trees, just with a chainsaw and loaded them on my truck with my leased telehandler. I tried to save the all the special trees, but it was a challenge to work around them. Only after i cleared the trees i could see how steep it was, way to steep to turn it in a functioning farm yard the way it was. So i decided to do a lot of landscaping and create 3 plateaus on different hights of the hill. On the first one is my pig pen and some storage. on the third of the following pictures you can see the quite steep slope leading to the second plateau. On the second plateau i have more storage space, a workshop, quite a large chicken coop and 2 bunker silo's. For the moment this is also where my field bins are, since i don't have an actual silo yet this is where is store my grains for feeding the animals. on the right of the chicken coop you can just see the slope leading to the third plateau. This plateau is where my cattle graze. there is also an area that is just empty at the moment apart from some building materials. This is where my silos will be some day but i had to halt construction because i am out of funds. this all took me about 40 hours, there are definitely some areas where i need to add some more detail, but overall i am pretty happy with the result and after 40 hours (and placing down almost 200 fences!) i wanted to do some actual farming. I don't own all the machinery by the way, i just put them there for the pictures and to get a feel of how it would look when there is more than the couple of things i own parked there.

Glad to see that those chickens have taken well to Brazil.

Thanks, yeah they are doing great over here. i managed to buy some hens from a local so i can sell some eggs too.
There are actually 3 pens in that enclosure, it didn't look good otherwise since its such a big area and the game only shows a few animals.

Maybe 10 of those 40 hours were spend editing mods by the way. that workshop for example i absolutely love it for a map like this but i hate seeing those immersion breaking (for me) black/yellow area markers on the ground and that big blue trigger button. And being the noob that i am with stuff like that it took me a lot of time to correct it.

Dairydeere, I really like those sunset views, especially on the pond.
