So like the question asks, did you ever get ahead of yourself on equipment purchases, only to realize you never needed it or use it?

I do this all the time. Have many things I rarely use. Guess it's realistic as any farmer I know has many shed ornaments that never get used

For me it was a belt system that sat unused for almost 3 years (in game) and I finally recently returned it to the dealer.

It usually happens to me with loaders and accessories... Ive almost always got a loader (usually the 30 when my tractor has the 60) or manure shovel just taking up space even if I have never needed it

I'm someone who keeps his farm tidy, since my computer is equivalent to a potato, so I only keep it if I know I'm going to have it. And if I do buy some pointless, I either keep it tucked away, or sell it back right away. Unnecessary equipment never stays more than a year
