So I am in a position.. to do a thing.. but I need a couple questions answered by and large..
To begin with, I need to know, where do you stand on dlc? How many have all or most of the dlc?
Another thing, would any of you be interested in doing work/contracts and the like for the dealership on a dedi server for pc and on xbone when I am able to host it? I don't think I can get a dedi server for xbone but if the idea takes off I would be willing to invest my extra xbone to running it as often as needed.. I was thinking I could run a farm and hire you all to do the leg work in the fields and forests and the like.. various types of jobs.. maybe even stuff like.. maybe you wanna get hired on as just a driver/carter.. or maybe your thing is bales or what have you.. I will hire out various types of jobs and scenarios and try to keep things immersive and fun for everyone.. Things will be kept in-game as much as possible (we can take votes for specific mods) so people don't have to download anything special to play on average.. You would be able to start your game, join (using password), do the job you were hired for, leave and go about your business including adding your earnings to your respective farms.. BUT.. I have season pass on both xbone and pc so all DLC would be pretty well a must.
This would be something I have to invest time and money into.. which fortunately isn't the problem.. but like the dedi server.. its a monthly investment and I am happy to make it as I think it could be a lot of fun but not if no one would be interested.. same thing with the xbone.. I wish I could do it with ps4 but to be honest, I can't justify buying yet another machine to play a game I have on several machines now..
On a final note, if it does or even if it doesn't, would anyone be interested in a serious long term lets play on a dedi server?

Full DLC, got the Seasons pass from Epic Games, and I would be interested in this. My schedule is about as variable as I can make it lol, so the time when I can be around will depend, but I would particpiate when I can

Sounds interesting but only have Claas. And thinking I may get Anderson and/or another in the the future.

Not only will you get all the original DLCs, but you will also get any future DLC content and the John Deere Gator that was originally released. It will also save you a little bit of money versus buying all the DLCs piecemeal.

Might do that, didn't realize that Season Pass was available on steam on its own.

I will look into the dlc thing.. if enough people dont have it then we go on without it.. no worries.. I have no intention to penalize anyone for not having paid dlc

On the other hand if everyone else has the dlc i don't want them to not be able to use the stuff they paid for just because i don't have it, so you just decide what is best!

Maybe only enable the most common DLC? (Whatever that may be)

Probably, especially as it was the first Edition and I would expect a lot of people got the Platinum Edition rather than the stock game (like I did, and saved a few bucks and got lime green mean machines)

thing is.. I plan on getting more than 1.. I want 1 for the forum and I want another to maybe shanghi a couple of u into playing with me regularly on a private server.. idk the first thing about dedi servers but if I have to set up 1 for with dlc and 1 for without.. whateves.. idc lol... we can all still play with our dlc whenever we see fit.. but in order to play together in the way we want for our roleplay and community here, we just may not be able to play with it during these instances

so I have been having a drive around Chellington Valley by O.D. and it certainly has my attention for a private playthru on pc and could very well find its very own dedi server very soon.. anyone else give it a look?

Seems like a very nice map with numerous farms.

It is scenic.. tons of nice features.. lots of additional crops.. and it was deliberately made compatible with most of the more popular mods like seasons, Maize +, so on and so forth.. I am fixing to start up a playthru now.. I have the mentioned mods installed but idk about too many others.. I am just getting back into pc again after being so sick for what seemed like the longest year of my life and I am not sure what else to add to make things... interesting.. realistic.. not really harder per say.. I have that covered already... and I don't enjoy mods that make me need a 350hp tractor to pull a 3m tool on flat ground.. to me that doesn't really add anything to the game.. just makes all of the smaller tractors and bigger tools pointless

It is an amazing map for sure! I had a hard time choosing between the map i am playing now and Chellington valley! And i do miss maizeplus and the new seasons features that fs19 brought. I think it is an excellent choice for a dedi with all those different yards.

Have played a bit of it in singleplayer. It'd be a great mp map with plenty of farms for people to choose from in mp.
