This one is pretty straight forward. Our forum will revolve around a calendar year. But obviously we need progression. So how long do we want our year to be? Keep in mind, the shorter our calendar year is, the less updates it will get per calendar month. If we, for example, set our year to only be a month long, myself nor any other people helping on the forum would have time to update it every day to ensure things are dynamic in price and seasonal jobs (harvest season, planting season, etc). But if we set our year too long, many people will have switched maps and playthrus before getting to use the features associated with certain times of the year. I am thinking between 2-4 months for an entire game year to cycle. This will ONLY affect the forum and how you interact with it. No one has to match their game cycle to the forums although it would be fun to see.
