I did get distracted and not leave my actual thoughts on it tho.. Idk anything about the console release as far as features.. I know there was concern about having to gut a few of the features for console.. but even at that.. even dumbed down.. its still an amazing mod and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I have.. If you guys find any features absent from the console release that might pertain to what we do here, please let me know as I have several plans in the works that are seasons specific (yea I have been trying to gear up for seasons on console as I suspect many of our community members roleplaying, will be using seasons)

Jessi as far as I'm aware there was no dumbing down at all. All the main features on pc are as they were now for consoles. In the future some added features will be updated to pc but likely not consoles. It seems to be way better than fs17 which was a fantastic mod even then. I truly will enjoy Shamrock with seasons once I get a chance to jump on lol

it is way better than seasons17.. but.. its also considerably more complex.. its nothing over the top.. but with crop rotation and a way more complex animal system, people should be aware that there is more "work" involved in setting up a successful long term farm

Jessi - You can keep running the same rotation. If you run soybeans year after year for example you'll end up with a max 86% yield instead of if you rotated it with wheat, corn or canola for example. I think the things that will throw the console users off:
1 - Bales and windrows rotting 2 - The actual impact of the weather causing your windrows to rot. Some places this isn't a big deal but on FS17 and one of the EU maps I played with Seasons it rained everyday. 3 - The animals only holding 2 days of feed 4 - The geo's. I've seen a couple of posts on the giants forums asking why they can't plant cotton. They've got the default GEO's in place which is middle Europe I believe and there is no cotton planted there.
It should be fun. I'm glad to see that the mod made it over to the console users as I think it adds a new level of complexity and difficulty that is needed in the game. Hopefully they feel the same way.

It would seem, people should avoid using the GEO mods as they seem to conflict with the snow plows.. Otherwise how is everyone getting along with it?

I updated my seasons mod version during the middle of harvest day 3. I thought I was good but on day 5 I got snow. This is my 4th winter and the first time it has snowed so early. Now that I'm farming 300+acres I might need to go to 9 days instead of 6 to make sure I don't end up with a bunch of crops sitting unable to be harvested.
