I was just wondering if anyone would try to use imgur and let me know if it lets you upload things? It seems to be having issues and I dont think its just on my end but I have no way to be sure.

yea I just did a bit more testing and it seems to specifically be the imgur4win app.. the actual browser version of imgur works fine and is really easy to use.. I am going to make a ticket with the creator of the app and I will make a guide soon for the browser version in case the app doesnt get fixed or we run into this problem again in the future

Not a problem.. I hope the creator gets it lined out soon but until then, I will do what I can to keep us moving forward with our images as the listings look so much nicer with them..

Ok everyone, I have a problem. I had forgotten that the browser version seems to hate this forum.. also as mediafire seems to hate me as well, I have absolutely no way to upload images unless I use the mobile app.. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I have come to greatly rely on imgur4win to make this happen.

imgbb.com/www.flickr.com/could those be an option? I haven't tried any of them, since i have my ovn webspace for all that stuff, and an unlimited sky account

i didnt even know those were a thing.. I will look into it.. thanks Noraf even if nothing comes of it, I appreciate the help as I am really not all that familiar with these things.. The only reason I know how to do what I do on here is because I crash coursed myself after I created the forum |

ok so the flicker one is pretty easy but it does require sign up but that shouldnt be a huge deal if its reliable and easy to use.. the imgbb one works but you have to edit the link each time to get just the bbc code so I am not sure how well that one would go over with users.. also, I am going to try to get to the bottom of why I cannot seem to use the browser version of imgur.. honestly.. we just need options in case one goes down like imgur4win (am still trying to get that one to work)

I stand corrected.. the imgbb one might be our answer.. no sigh up required.. and.. you can post the link directly into your listing without needing to use the image button.. it will show just the link until you actually create the post and it turns it into an image.. I am going to assume thats because its a bbc code and thats the same code this forum is built from.. I checked on my phone and the images show up fine on there.. if you upload from a phone using it, you only get the link but the link will direct you to the actual image similar to how imgur works.. overall the process is really fast and seems to work well enough for my liking.. I will put an image here using it.. let me know if you cant see it please.  |
